A Disclaimer and Some Comments:

The socio-economic-political commentary and satire of this art gallery, is not directed, strangely enough, against any particular individual or group of individuals who are especially skillful at exploiting the existing system to their own advantage. Rather it is directed against the existing system itself, the social-economic-political institutions and their policies that encourage and reward us to behave in certain ways. It is those institutions and their policies that exploit the dark side of our human nature that is the focus of this gallery.

Due to the strong indictment of our existing institutions expressed in these images, it is important to add that this gallery firmly believes in the democratic process to bring about social and economic change. As slow and awkward as the democratic process is, it is simply the most civilized way to initiate long lasting and meaningful change. This gallery joins a myriad of other organizations in the hope that by exposing the soul-destroying, inferior-exploiting and Earth-devouring tendencies of our current institutions to the light of day that fundamental changes will begin to take place.

These images are about the 'Big Picture', in an attempt to put a human face on our faceless institutions I have used individual facial expressions and body gestures. In most cases (except for politicians and a few notable business persons) the faces and bodies I have chosen to use and manipulate do not reflect that individual's personal or political philosophies in any way. They reflect mine and those who have inspired me in artistic and intellectual ways. So if I have happened to use your face or body to make a comment about the 'Big Picture' please don't take it personally I have no defamatory or libelous intent. In an attempt to be fair about this here is a photo of yours truly with which you can manipulate, distort, collage etc, in any way you wish.
